The consequential finding

In 2025 Norfolk produced 13,356 reminder letters and recorded 168 failure to furnish prosecutions. Suffolk produced 17,431 reminders and recorded 105 prosecutions.

Suffolk's reminder count increased by 7,792 in a year and by 9,779 from 2023. That sustained procedural measure is the strongest local press hook. The 2025 combined NIP and Section 172 printed count also doubled from 2023, but the force cannot separate NIPs from driver information requirements, so NoticeReady does not headline it as either measure.

Counting boundary: “failure to furnish prosecution” is the force's label. The response does not say how many resulted in conviction or MS90 endorsement. Reminder, printed letter and prosecution counts must not be treated as a case conversion funnel.

FROM EVIDENCE TO ACTION

A reminder is the point to recover control, not wait for court papers.

Keep the reminder and envelope, request the original if it was not received, verify the official response route and preserve proof of any nomination. If a failure allegation has already been charged, organise the service, response and enquiry evidence before pleading.

Not established

  • Average or median nomination processing time, which was not held.

Use the evidence for the correct procedural route

The paid service organises the chronology, evidence, deadline record and questions for advice. It does not determine a defence, choose a plea or promise an outcome.

Official response system

The forces identified the Norfolk and Suffolk Public Access System ↗. Its current guidance permits eligible recipients to view offence material and submit a driver admission or nomination online using the notice details.

PRESS AND CITATION USE

The defensible Suffolk hook is 17,431 reminders, up 127.8 percent since 2023.

Preserve the force labels and state separately that 105 failure to furnish prosecutions were recorded in Suffolk in 2025. Do not describe the prosecution figure as convictions or MS90 endorsements.
