WEBSITE AND PRODUCT TERMS

Terms of service.

These terms explain what NoticeReady supplies, the limits of the service, how the £29 digital product is delivered and the rights that remain available to consumers.

Effective and last updated 22 August 2026

1. Who we are and when these terms apply

NoticeReady is operated by NoticeReady Ltd, company number 17414119, whose registered office is shown on this page. These terms govern browsing the website, using a free checker or guide, and purchasing NoticeReady Case.

A purchase contract is formed when Stripe confirms payment for NoticeReady Case after you actively accept these terms. The contract is between you and NoticeReady Ltd.

2. Information and preparation support only

NoticeReady provides general legal information, procedural orientation and self directed preparation tools for England and Wales. NoticeReady is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.

The service does not determine whether a notice is valid, advise a plea, assess prospects, draft court submissions, contact the police or court, conduct litigation or represent you. It is not a substitute for advice from an appropriately regulated professional who has reviewed the facts and documents.

If a hearing is close, disqualification or custody is possible, evidence is disputed, or the matter involves injury, alcohol or drugs, obtain regulated advice promptly.

3. Your responsibility for deadlines and information

You remain responsible for reading the original paperwork, checking every date and deadline, giving accurate information, and submitting any response through the method required by the issuing body.

Checker results depend on the information selected or entered. They are organisational aids, not findings of fact or guarantees of legal effect. Do not delay a required response because you are using NoticeReady.

4. Free services

Free guides and checkers may be used without an account. NoticeReady may correct, improve, withdraw or replace free material. We aim to keep primary source references current but cannot promise that every administrative practice or third party website will remain unchanged.

You may save or print a result for your own use. You must not scrape, republish, resell or present NoticeReady material or tool output as your own service.

5. NoticeReady Case and price

NoticeReady Case costs £29 as a single payment with no subscription. The product is browser based and becomes available after Stripe confirms successful payment. The product description shown before checkout forms part of the contract.

NoticeReady Case organises information you supply into a procedural timeline, action plan, deadline record, evidence checklist, briefing and downloadable record. Entries remain in your browser unless the product expressly states otherwise.

6. Immediate digital supply and cancellation

Before payment you are asked to request immediate access and acknowledge that the product will begin to be supplied as soon as payment is confirmed. Where the law permits, the statutory cancellation right for digital content is lost once supply begins after that express request and acknowledgement.

This does not remove statutory rights where digital content is faulty, misdescribed or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Functional value guarantee and refunds

If NoticeReady Case fails to generate or contains no materially more personalised information than the completed free result, email hello@noticeready.co.uk within seven days of purchase with the Stripe receipt reference. We will investigate and, where the guarantee applies, issue a refund to the original payment method.

The guarantee concerns access and functional value. It does not guarantee a legal result, police decision, course offer, penalty, plea outcome or court outcome.

8. Acceptable use

You must not use the service unlawfully, interfere with security, probe protected systems, introduce malicious code, attempt to bypass payment or access controls, or use automated means to extract substantial parts of the service.

You must not enter another person's personal data unless you have a lawful reason and authority to do so. Free checkers tell users not to enter names, addresses, vehicle registrations or case references.

9. Third party services and links

Stripe processes payments. Google may process analytics only where analytics consent has been given. Police, court, GOV.UK and other third party links are provided for convenience and source checking. Their services, availability and terms are controlled by them, not NoticeReady.

Use the current contact and response details printed on your notice where they differ from a linked page.

10. Liability

NoticeReady does not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, NoticeReady is not responsible for loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user, a missed deadline, a third party service failure, use of the service as a substitute for regulated advice, or an outcome controlled by the police, prosecutor, course provider, DVLA or court.

For a paid consumer contract, any aggregate liability arising from the digital product is limited to the amount paid for that product where it is lawful and fair to apply that limit.

11. Changes, governing law and complaints

We may update these terms for legal, security or service reasons. The version accepted at checkout applies to that purchase. Material changes are dated on this page.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring proceedings in another part of the United Kingdom where applicable.

For a service or payment complaint, use the contact page. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two working days and provide a substantive response within ten working days where practicable.
