MOBILE APP PRIVACY

NoticeReady mobile application privacy policy.

Effective 9 August 2026. The NoticeReady mobile app is designed to keep motoring matter information on the user’s device unless the user chooses to export or share it.

Who operates NoticeReady

NoticeReady is operated by NoticeReady Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17414119. Its registered office is York House, 249 Manningham Lane, Bradford, BD8 7ER.

Privacy enquiries and rights requests may be sent to privacy@noticeready.co.uk.

Information stored by the app

The app allows a user to record a motoring document type, allegation category, dates, checklist progress, notes, chronology, evidence status, correspondence details and questions for an adviser. This information is stored locally on the user’s device. NoticeReady does not create a user account and does not receive this matter information through the app.

An attached photograph or document remains within the application workspace on the device unless the user chooses to export or share it. The app does not use automated document recognition and does not upload the file to NoticeReady.

Purchases

The optional Response Plan is purchased through Apple’s App Store or Google Play. The relevant store processes payment credentials, transaction information and receipts under its own privacy terms. NoticeReady does not receive or store card details. The app stores a transaction reference locally so it can mark the selected matter as unlocked.

Notifications

The app asks separately for permission before scheduling a local deadline reminder. Reminders are generated on the device. The user can refuse permission or disable reminders. NoticeReady does not use a remote notification service in this release.

PDF export and sharing

The app can generate a PDF using information entered by the user. The file is shared only when the user invokes the operating system share function and selects a recipient or destination. The selected third party’s privacy terms then apply.

Legal basis and user control

Because the core matter information is stored locally and is not transmitted to NoticeReady Ltd, the user controls that device record. Any email sent to the company is processed for the legitimate purpose of answering the enquiry or dealing with a privacy request.

Retention and deletion

Matter information remains on the device until the user deletes it, clears application storage or removes the app. The settings screen provides a control to delete every locally stored matter and reminder. Deletion cannot be reversed. A consumable Response Plan purchase cannot restore matter information that has been deleted.

Support and privacy emails are retained only for as long as reasonably required to respond, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations.

Security

The app minimises data collection by keeping matter information on the device. Users should secure their device, keep its operating system current and avoid sharing exported files with unintended recipients.

Children

NoticeReady is intended for people dealing with motoring documents and is not directed at children under 13.

Rights and complaints

For information actually held by NoticeReady Ltd, a person may request access, correction, deletion or restriction where applicable. Requests should be sent to privacy@noticeready.co.uk. A person may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the app’s data practices change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current published version.
